Spectrum Studio Toronto Photographic Workshops are practical learning experiences for photographers.

I believe the only way to learn how to take exceptional photographs is :

• take photographs,
• critique your images,
• figure out what you want to next time to improve,
• repeat.

Spectrum is here to help you.

Class size is small, usually 6 participants max. I feel that the knowledge and experience gained decreases in a larger workshop. The events that do have larger numbers ( location shoots) are still run in a way to give the participants the best possible experience.

Pricing. You learn photography from practice. Your confidence level increases over time. This can only happen with experience. Workshops and events are designed as part of an ongoing instruction, not as a one off event.

Releases and models. The models are paid for most of my events. The participants are not expected to deliver images to the models. If you get a shot that you think the model would like to use in their portfolio, they would appreciate receiving them.

The models sign limited releases, which allow the participants to use the images for promotional and educational use only.
