Model shoots are events designed to allow the photographer to gain experience, and expand their portfolio while networking with other photographers, models and make-up artists.

Shoots fall into different categories.

• Nude- model is fully nude, style of lighting and posing is art nudes
• Beach shoot- model is in swimsuit, and we go to the beach.
• Glamour- model is fully or partially clothed, or wearing lingerie, style of lighting and posing is sexy glamour
• Glamour Nudes- model is in various starts of dress ( or undress) style of lighting and posing is "Playboy Style"
• Themed Shoots- the models, styling, and sets are put together to create a theme.

Event size is small, usually 6 participants max. I feel that the knowledge and experience gained decreases in a larger workshop. The events that do have larger numbers ( location shoots) are still run in a way to give the participants the best possible experience. The photographer to model ratio is usually 2 to 1.

Pricing. You learn photography from practice. Your confidence level increases over time. This can only happen with experience. Workshops and events are designed as part of an ongoing instruction, not as a one off event. Prices vary depending on length of time of the shoot, an the extra talent ( stylists, make-up arts) needed to make the shoot happen.

Photographer Skill Level. Photographers are expected to have basic technical skills to attend these events. We will help you get the shots you want, but these are not instructional event ( see workshops)

Releases and models. The models are paid for most of my events. The participants are not expected to deliver images to the models. If you get a shot that you think the model would like to use in their portfolio, they would appreciate receiving them.

The models sign limited releases, which allow the participants to use the images for promotional and educational use only.
